"I was fortunate enough to have had the honor to work under Tom about 20 years ago. I was young and eager to learn as much as I could about the mechanics of the human body. I would watch and listen to his approach with patients and I would always see the connection he would make with his patients. I knew as a young student that was the type of heathcare professional I wanted to one day become. One who has empathy and connects with each patient to better understand the ROOT cause of the issue and to address it with time, understanding and patience. Getting to the ROOT cause of an issue is a more holistic approach into healing the body. Using the gifts we are given to help heal the ones in need. Luckily it's been about 20 years since I needed Tom's services. My mom injured her back and was unable to really walk. Her quality of life was going down quickly and I went searching for Tom, because In my head and heart he is the BEST AROUND. Each approach he has with his patients is individualized based on the need of that particular patient and we don't see enough of that in healthcare today. He first asks questions to better understand the background of the patient, then he he closes his eyes and feels the alignment of the area using the vision he has in his mind as a guide and he uses the gift he was given and he starts the healing process. He's the BEST that I know in this field. I highly recommend him as a Boss, co-worker, friend or Therapist. He is just an all around great human. "Triumph Physical Therapy is my trusted, local PT clinic. I have received PT from another chain in the area and was unsatisfied with the "set it and forget it" style of care. That set me on the journey to find a smaller practice where I would regularly see the same PT or PTA and get the attention one needs in PT. Triumph is that place. Dr. Tom Gonzales is well educated, talented, knowledgeable, with the attention to detail needed for providing great care. The rest of the small staff is great, attentive, and a pleasure to work with too. Dr. Gonzales saw me when I was pregnant and was careful to use only safe modalities. He also equipped me with a few key movements to do at home if I had a flair up. This I really appreciated. "I was having very bad back pain for a couple weeks. One of my co-workers insisted I go to Triumph Physical Therapy, and assured me they would fix my problem quickly. They sure did! Their approach to understanding the root cause of my pain, taking the appropriate steps to bring that pain to an end, and to help me gain the strength to prevent the pain from coming back was very professional. They quickly gained my confidence that they would bring my pain to a permanent end. My back feels better than it has in a very long time. "Very Friendly Staff & Environment. Mr. Thomas Gonzales is a professional & extremely knowledgeable physical therapist. He identifies the root cause of the problem and treats for the same. I recently got my therapy done from Mr. Thomas Gonzales for a hip pain. He identified my problem in my first therapy session. In less than 5 sessions my pain was gone based on the suggested exercises. With additional exercises for few more sessions, he focused on making the muscles around the problematic area stronger. Ms. Darla Tessman is Tom's assistant therapist and she is also very knowledgeable. They take good care of everybody. "I've had 4 different bouts with Physical Therapy over the past 4-5 years - 3 for my shoulder and one for my knee. Just like there are surgeons and then there are SURGEONS, there are physical therapists and then there are PHYSICAL THERAPISTS. Tom Gonzales is definitely the latter. He is the best of the best!
